Distance learning has special challenges. You will probably never see or meet the teacher. You won't have classmates. You don't have a campus full of people studying the same thing.

But you can succeed! Plan on it! Follow these simple tips and you will succeed.

• Set Goals - At the beginning of the new course, look for the study material, divide the lesson and assignments and plan how much part you can do in a week or month. Planning is more important and stick to your plan is the most important.
• Establish a regular Study - Determine what time is best for your study. Take breaks-walk around and stretch. Drink some water or have a light snack. If possible, have a dedicated study place with all the supplies you might need. Follow the time, keep a calendar or journal with your study goals.
• Talk about it - Tell your friend about what are you doing, ask them to check up on you. Discuss with the topics which you are studying
• Ask Questions - If you don't understand something ask the questions and clarify your doubts.
• Know your learning style and use it.
